Bet from the Kauri Museum managed to pull off a big coup when the famous American journalist and writer of Brokeback Mountain Annie Proulx visited Northland recently. Koro & Shane are off to TRENZ this year to be held in Queenstown in May. Watch out Queenstown here comes Northlands West coast.

The 12km Waipoua Fun Run and Walk Event will be held on Sunday June 5. This year we will be offering a half marathon course for those who are interested.

Shane has really enjoyed working with Oliver from kauri Coast Area Department of Conservation on a couple of Projects. By the amount of blisters on his hands and feet Shane has been digging in.
